Open Mornings 2010
The Next Open Morning will be on Saturday 9th October 2010 (09:30-12:00) with the Head Master's Address at 09:40 prompt. To attend please register your interest with the School by phone or email. This is a non-committal morning and is a good chance to see the School with your son and family.
Open Mornings tend to fill up fairly quickly so please email us on: enquiries@oratory.co.uk or telephone 01491 683500, if you intend to come to an Open Morning. When you email in please inform us whether it is for 11+ or 13+ or 16+ for which you are looking. If you forget to do this and want to turn up on spec you are of course welcome but it does help us make the morning run more smoothly if we know how many parents to expect. Children are welcome to come with you. Once you have emailed in, your name is put on the list, please do not worry if you dont hear back from us, you will be down to attend.
On the day, please first report to the Front Hall. Coffee & tea will be served in the Black Room. Staff will be on hand to chat and deal with any queries. Parents are then escorted by the boys round the school returning to the Black Room for any final questions. The Open Morning is held on a normal working school day when lessons will be taking place.
If you would like to attend an open morning at another school but find they have clashed with our open morning, please phone in and we will try to accommodate you on an early tour, so you can fit in two schools on one day. The idea of these Open Mornings is that they are a "taster" of school life and if you like what you see, we hope you will make a further appointment with the Head Master.
If you cannot attend an Open Morning then please apply for a Show Round. These take place throughout the School year. To book a Show Round Tel: 01491 683500 and ask for the Head Master's Office.
Open Mornings are held in Sept/Oct and May.
