Child Action Nepal Charity Donation

The Everest Base Camp expedition team has made a charitable donation to Child Action Nepal and the Himalayan Trust. Following last year’s expedition some money was set aside for a commemorative photograph book or to go out for a celebratory meal. Oratory Pupil Marathon Inspiration!

Lukas, an U6th form pupil, inspired several of the school’s staff to join him and complete this year’s London Marathon. DofE Morocco Expedition

The Duke of Edinburgh gold expedition is currently taking place in Morocco, where ten boys and three staff, led by David Watkins, are on their way to climb Mt Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains (4167m). In addition to trekking the expedition is designed as a personal development programme for the Lower Sixth. Football

Football is the main game during the Lent term. Each year group will put out 12 teams. There is also a Staff XI who play most Sundays at home against local schools.   Our fixture list, now predominately league football, is very strong. The 2 Leagues, The Lent Term (1st, 2nd , 3rd XI, 16 AXI, 15 AXI’s) and Thames Valley (1-3rd XI’s) Leagues, have really challenged the boys on a weekly basis and has been excellent for their development. The Oratory Cardinals Rowing Club has brought together old crews, friends and others connected to OSBC almost as long as there has been rowing at the school, but since 1997 the club has competed much more widely, with our debut at Henley Royal Regatta in 2000.
