Two Former Oratory Pupils make Senior Rugby Debuts

More great Oratory Rugby news, as two former pupils made senior debuts for their respective club sides on Saturday 13 November.

Morgan MacRae, Oratory Captain of Rugby in 2019, represented the Scarlets against the Dragons.

Ollie Monye (OS: 2015-19) played for Wasps in the Premiership Cup against Newcastle Falcons.

Both Old Oratorians were members of their respective club's academy set-ups whilst attending The Oratory School and have since progressed into the senior ranks.

Mikey Hennessy, Head of Rugby, says “It is wonderful to see both Morgan and Ollie given these opportunities. They worked very hard on their games whilst at school and in many ways spurred each other on.”

The Oratory 1st XV will be travelling to Dublin this Friday 19 - Sunday 21 November for their annual tour.

Last week, it was announced that 17 Oratory pupils between U14s-17s have been selected to join London Irish’s Developing Player Programme (DPP).

The Oratory School has an outstanding sporting tradition. Sports Scholarships are available at 11+, 13+ and 16+ entry and are awarded to recognise excellence, ability, and potential. Please contact Natasha Pearce, Registrar at for more details.
