Lent Term's online Sports Talks

We have been pleased to continue our series of Sports Talks with inspirational sportsmen and women during lockdown. So far this Lent term, pupils have had the opportunity to listen to and join live Q&A sessions with:

Kevin Maggs
Former Ireland rugby international, Kevin has played for Bristol, Bath, Ulster and Rotherham Titans. He started his adult rugby career in Bristol with local side Imperial. Kevin now works with the IRFU high performance team, focusing on talent ID.

Claire Fahey
Games Coach and Head of Racquets at The Oratory, Claire is the reigning Ladies World Real Tennis Champion. She has won 32 Ladies Real Tennis Open Singles Championships and 32 Ladies Real Tennis Open Doubles Championships. She is also a Great Britain Padel team member and an accomplished lawn tennis player.

Holly Cram
Aspire USA founder Holly Cram is a Hockey Centurion with 150 caps for Scotland and Team GB. Holly is also a USA All-American player and Hall of Fame Inductee. She followed a path to America, studying at Richmond University on a 4 year Hockey scholarship. Aspire USA provide selective admissions and sport scholarship services to talented students athletes looking to study and play sport at American universities and colleges. With Aspire USA she is now helping students follow their sporting dreams!

Chris Cracknell OF
Chris has many highlights including England’s first win in the Wellington, New Zealand 7's tournament in February 2009. He also helped his country to lift the Emirates Airlines London Sevens title. Chris had previously represented England U19 and U21 and also captained the South West U18 side. His club rugby experience has spanned Harlequins, Cornish Pirates, who he joined from Newbury Blues in 2006 and Worcester Warriors. He ended up in Fiji coaching their 7's Team with great success!
