CCF Biennial Dinner

The Oratory School Combined Cadet Corps held their Biennial Dining in night on Wednesday 17th May. Amongst the many guests attending were the Guest of Honour, AOC22 Training Group, Air-Vice Marshal Andrew Turner CBE MA MSc BA FRAeS FCMl RAF and the Regimental Adjutant Colonel Tom Bonas, from the school’s parent Regiment, the Welsh Guards. The dinner concluded with awards being made to four senior CCF Cadets; Thomas Shaw, Charles Dart, Edward Swash and Simon Kim for their excellent contribution over the last four years. A CCF tie was presented to Major Martin Farnan for his contribution to the CCF in general but in particular to shooting. The final award was to Flt. Lt. David Forster who received a Bar to his Cadet Forces Medal. All the awards were presented by Air-Vice Marshal Andrew Turner, who concluded what was an excellent evening with a highly entertaining speech.
