The First Form prepared for Christmas by designing symbols to hang on the Jesse Tree.
The Jesse Tree is named after King David’s father from whom Christ was descended. This custom recalls Salvation History by marking the stories of the Old Testament and the period leading up to the birth of Christ.
Each of the boys produced their own design and hung them on the bare tree provided by our Grounds Department.
At the beginning of the Lent Term gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh have been placed at the foot of the tree.
