The annual Languages day at The Oratory School took place last Monday 19th November.
As well as a continental-themed lunch with accompanying music in the refectory, there was also the Inter-House Language Olympiad.
The top linguists from each of the four senior houses battled it out over a series of increasingly difficult tasks in lesser known/obscure languages, ranging from Albanian to Pame and even featuring Fijian and Lithuanian.
This year’s winning house was Faber, with St John and Norris tied in second place. Fitzalan finished just outside of the medal positions.
