English Curriculum Support Tutor 

Our Curriculum Support Department is looking for a self-employed English Tutor across all secondary years to work with students on a 1:1 basis.

The successful candidate should have suitable qualifications and be trained in delivering effective interventions to students. Experience in working with students with learning needs may also be a benefit. A high level of patience and flexibility is also required.

 


Graduate Assistant 

A wonderful opportunity is available at The Oratory School for a Graduate Assistant to make a meaningful impact on our students. The role is available from 1 September 2024 to 31 July 2025. 

As a Graduate Assistant you would be supporting academic classes, and sporting fixtures as well contributing to the ethos and culture of our school. Additionally, this is a full-time residential role, living in one of our boarding houses and helping with duties, supervision and the pastoral care of students. There is an occupational requirement (as defined by Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010) for the postholder to be female. Accordingly, this post is open to female applicants only. 
 

 

 


Head of Drama

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Oratory for a Head of Drama teaching position. You will take responsibility for the successful planning, development, delivery and administration of the academic Drama curriculum. 

In addition, the Head of Drama takes responsibility for the school’s co-curricular drama programme of events. Students are actively involved in dramatic 
productions every year and recent performances over the past few years have incorporated musicals, Shakespeare, and more modern productions.
 

 


Learning Support Assistant (1:1 support)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant. This rewarding role involves fostering a positive learning environment, tailoring assistance to an 
individual’s needs and supporting a student’s academic and personal growth. Embark on a fulfilling journey with us as we prioritise excellence in a community where every student is known.

This is a fixed term role for 12 months with the opportunity to be extended. This role is a full-time term time role.

Porter/Cleaner 

We are looking for Porters/Cleaners to join our Domestic Team to provide an excellent standard of cleaning throughout the school. There are various shifts available either term time or all year round.

School Bank Nurses

We are looking for Bank Nurses to work as part of our excellent Health Centre team to provide professional support and care to our students. If you are highly organised, have great communication skills and love working with children, we would love to meet you.

 

 


Minibus Drivers (term time only)

The Oratory School is looking for motivated and friendly Minibus Drivers to work as part of the Transport Team to provide transport for our students. A full D1 Licence is required.

Mornings -Monday to Saturdays 6.30am to 8.30am; Evenings Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm.
