Teacher of Business and Economics - Closing date 24 June 2021
An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Oratory for a teaching position within the Business and Economics Department. We are seeking to appoint a committed, innovative and dynamic member of staff. The Oratory prizes individuals who demonstrate passion for their subjects and who continually seek to develop their own teaching skillsets.
This is an opportunity which may suit someone relatively new to the profession who
has a good academic degree in the relevant subject(s) and is seeking to further
their experience. The ability to offer another related subject may be an advantage.
English Tutor (Self Employed)
The Curriculum Support Department is looking for a self-employed Curriculum Support Teacher (English Tutor) to work across the whole secondary years. The Curriculum Support Teacher will work with students on a 1:1 basis. The ability to tutor EAL 1:1 would be an advantage.
GAP Student - Closing date 2 July 2021
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Gap Year student to assist in our St Philips boarding house to start 1 September 2021 until July 2022. You will live in the boarding house and work closely with the Houseparent’s, supporting them in their roles.
The role would suit a school leaver and is a Term time only role.
Maintenance (General)- Closing date - 24 June 2021
We are looking to appoint a permanent member of the Maintenance team, to help maintain all areas within the school to a high quality standard. If you are self-motivated and have a proactive, positive approach to your work then we would like to hear from you.
This role is for 40 hours per week over 7 days, all year round. Salary is dependant upon skills, knowledge and experience.
Gardener - Closing date - 24 June 2021
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gardner to join our well established and experienced Grounds team to help maintain and improve our gardens.
The role is a full time all year round role.
We are currently looking for lifeguards to work on a casual basis at The Oratory Prep School (Goring Heath) and The Oratory School (Woodcote).
The successful candidate(s) ideally will be able to work day times and evening shifts and must hold either a current National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches Award (NRASTC) or a National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ).
Minibus Drivers (term time only)
The Oratory School is looking for motivated and friendly Minibus Drivers to work as part of the Transport Team to provide transport for our pupils. A full D1 Licence is required.
Mornings -Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8.30am; Evenings Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm.
