Temporary Part-Time Teacher of Chemistry for October/November 2019

The Oratory School requires from October/November 2019 a temporary Teacher of Chemistry. The successful candidate will be a good honours graduate, who will be able to teach the subject to Year 7, 8 and 9 Chemists in particular. This post arises due to staff absence and so is one of a particularly temporary nature as well as being part time (10 x 35 minute periods per week).

EAL and MFL Teacher (Part time O.7 FTE) For January 2020

The Head Master is looking to appoint a talented, dynamic and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages and English as an Additional Language teacher with a passion to inspire and help children learn. The successful candidate will be a good honours graduate, who will be able to teach 10 periods of French and 11 periods of EAL (lesson length – 35 minutes per period). French to all ages and abilities from Year 7 to A Level and Oxbridge, and EAL at GCSE and IELTS levels.

LIFEGUARDS (casual)

We are currently looking for lifeguards to work on a casual basis at The Oratory Prep School (Goring Heath) and The Oratory School (Woodcote).

The successful candidate(s) ideally will be able to work day times and evening shifts and must hold either a current National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches Award (NRASTC) or a National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ).

MINIBUS DRIVERS (term time only)

The Oratory School is looking for motivated and friendly Minibus Drivers to work as part of the Transport Team to provide transport for our pupils. A full D1 Licence is required.

Mornings -Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8.30am; Evenings Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm.

CATERING VACANCIES

  • Pastry Chef – Full-time, 40 hours per week on a rota, 5 days out of 7. Minimum NVQ Level 2 required.
  • Store person/Porter – Full-time, Monday to Friday 6am to 3.30pm.

We currently have the following vacancies at The Oratory Preparatory School

 

AFTERNOON ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST - CLOSING DATE NOON on 31 JULY 2019

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, part-time afternoon Administrator /Receptionist to provide professional customer service and administrative support to the school. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multitask and a friendly and welcoming disposition.

This is a part time, term time only role plus 5 weeks of holiday working, Monday to Friday – 12:30pm to 6:30 pm (of which 30 minutes will be an unpaid break) total of 27.5 hours per week.  There will also be a requirement to work alternate Saturdays 8:00am -1:00pm
