The Oratory School requires for September 2019 a full time Head of Physics. TEACHER OF ENGLISH - Closing date 15 March 2019 

The Head Master is looking to appoint a well-qualified, inspirational graduate teacher to join our successful English Department. The candidate will be able to teach all the necessary elements of the syllabuses offered at GCSE and especially A Level. The need to develop a rapport with pupils that promotes high academic standards and intellectual development is paramount, as well as the enthusiasm to encourage pupils to take the subject further academically.

EAL PERIPATETIC TEACHER (Part Time) - Closing date 25 March 2019 

The Head Master is looking to appoint a well-qualified, peripatetic teacher to teach Academic English and Literacy Skills to small groups and individuals, delivering IELTS, Cambridge Assessment and IGCSE ESOL courses. The candidate will help boys (for whom English is an additional language) to develop proficiency in English. The candidate will be able to enthuse and motivate students, as well as be sympathetic and flexible to our timetabling needs.

We are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the 2019/2020 academic year. This is a full time residential role, living in one of our boarding houses and helping with duties, supervision and the pastoral care of our boarders.

We are currently looking for lifeguards to work on a casual basis at The Oratory Prep School (Goring Heath) and The Oratory School (Woodcote).

The successful candidate(s) ideally will be able to work day times and evening shifts and must hold either a current National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches Award (NRASTC) or a National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ).

MINIBUS DRIVERS (term time only)

The Oratory School is looking for motivated and friendly Minibus Drivers to work as part of the Transport Team to provide transport for our pupils. A full D1 Licence is required.

Mornings -Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8.30am; Evenings Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm.

  • Store person/Porter – Full-time, Monday to Friday 6am to 3.30pm.
