Admissions

The Oratory is a wonderful, flourishing community where each boy is encouraged and challenged to develop his given talents to the full in academic, sporting and cultural endeavours.

We would be delighted to meet you in person to discuss with you in more detail how your son might benefit from being part of our school. Please contact us to arrange a visit to the school, meet the Head Master and see the school in action during term time. Once you have visited the school the next step of our admissions process would be completion of the Registration Form, which should be sent to the Registrar together with the Registration Fee (non-returnable).

Boys enter the school either at 13+ through the ISEB Scholarship or ISEB Common Entrance Examinations, or at 11+ through internally set Entrance Examination (English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning papers).

Boys that are registered to join the school at 13+ are required to sit the ISEB Pre-test in Year 6 or Year 7.

Boys can also enter at Sixth Form depending on GCSE results. Admission at other stages may be possible, subject to the availability of a place.

Overseas boys wishing to enter the school will be required to complete Entrance Examinations in English and Maths.
