Sport
Sport: Inclusion and Excellence
We have a proud tradition of sporting excellence with pupils and former pupils competing at an elite county, national and international level. However sport is for everyone at The Oratory, every pupil can find something here to enjoy, whatever their ability.
Sport is a large part of life for everyone at the school. Games, including matches, is timetabled four times a week. There are a multitude of sports on offer which ensures that all pupils can take part and feel a sense of teamwork and achievement.
Coaching
As well as a strong team of specialist teachers, we have a number of professional coaches who have competed at an international level, to provide high-quality tuition, master-classes and guidance. We are keen for our pupils to always strive to achieve the highest of standards.
Major Sports
Our pupils thrive on the opportunities to compete and develop their talents in team and individual sports.

Fixtures
As a smaller school a large proportion of our pupils represent the school in sports teams. Weekly fixtures see parents and the School community coming together to support on the touchline. The school has an impressive fixtures list and we compete at prestigious venues around the country. We have played rugby at Cardiff Arms Park, competed in the Bath Cup at the Olympic London Aquatic Centre and rowed at the Henley Regatta.
Sports Tours
Pupils get the opportunity to participate in Sports Tours to a variety of far-flung destinations including in recent years: Portugal, South Africa, Barbados and Canada.

Sports Facilities
We have sports pitches galore and our Sports Centre has something for everyone: swimming pool, sports hall, gym, ergo room, spinning bikes, grass court tennis, golf course, squash courts and we are one of only five schools in the country to have a Real Tennis court. We also have a boathouse on the River Thames for our rowers.
