We call ourselves a family and we mean it: the warmth and support of the school enables pupils to develop strong self-belief and resilience, which will remain with them throughout their lives.

Houses are central to life at The Oratory. Our junior pupils in the 1st and 2nd Forms are part of St Philip House until they graduate into one of the Senior Houses. All other pupils are assigned a House when they join the school and remain part of that House during their time with us. All pupils, day and boarding, socialise in their Houses together. This sense of belonging is enormously important to the school’s family atmosphere and creates an environment in which all can thrive.
