Despite the difficult weather conditions, there was some excellent rugby played throughout the afternoon and it was a useful way to start the rugby season.

The London Oratory, attending the competition for the first time, were the overall winners having narrowly topped the second pool stage on points difference after a hard-fought draw against Gordon's School.

Mr. Hennessy, Head of Rugby, says “It was great to see so many schools in attendance and the quality of rugby on show. The weather conditions didn’t put the boys off and the standard of play was very impressive”
