The evening began with Matthew Fogg, Deputy Head Pastoral at The Oratory, explaining some of the pastoral systems that we have put in place including Girls on Board, BSA's Life Skills Awards and our own Ex Umbris Learning Culture. The talk also considered some of the ways we may be able to work more closely with prep schools to ensure a smooth transition to senior school. This then led on to a convivial supper and chance for sharing of good practice amongst all of the guests. It was not all work and it was wonderful to have the opportunity for catching up with colleagues as well as making useful new contacts. 

All agreed that it had been a pleasant and useful evening, and we look forward to hosting more such events later in the year.
