Days of Recollection

Each year group is taken out of school every year for a ‘Day of Recollection’. This is a time when the boys are able, in their form, to have some time away from the usual daily schedule and learn something of the Catholic faith from a place of religious significance. Among the places the boys visit are Littlemore, where Blessed John Henry Newman was received into the Catholic Church, the Birmingham Oratory, Westminster, Arundel Castle, and Harvington Hall.

These days are therefore designed to break the daily schedule, be a fun time away together, and informative about the history of the Catholic faith in our land. Mass is always a focal point in the day which is celebrated by the Chaplain.
