Our L6 Business and Economics students went to the Mini plant at Oxford this morning.
The students had a guided tour of the site – which produces a new Mini every 67 seconds. The plant has gone from employing 28,000 workers, to a highly automated production line, with 1200 robots working highly efficiently, to produce a car which is personalised for each customer.
The boys were a credit to the school, asking pertinent, intelligent questions and learning about the BMW apprenticeship programme.
