Adi first began playing for Oxfordshire in the U14s team and has worked his way up. In 2022, he made a stunning 129 not out for the Oxfordshire Emerging Players Programme against Berkshire, and in the following summer, he helped Peppard Stoke Row Cricket Club win the U15 County Cup, going on to reach the last 16 nationally alongside fellow Oratory pupils, Rudi Derbyshire, Will Underhay, Archie Watson, Max Hucker and Will Waller.

Hector hit a second county ton in 2024 – a sublime 116 from just 84 balls against Wales. He also recorded his first adult century when racking up 103 to help PSRCC chase down 256 in a stunning four-wicket victory at Falkland 2nd XI.

The runs continued to flow last summer when he broke a 30-year school record at The Oratory, becoming just the second player to post a double ton. His 202no versus The Nomads overhauled Director of Oratory Sport Steve Tomlinson’s 200no against Emeriti back in 1995.

Another county century followed in July as Hector notched 110 during the first innings of a three-day game at Staffordshire, his knock featuring nine boundaries and four maximums. He has also featured for Sussex at age group level, and has scored 1592 runs at an average of 37.90 as part of the joint pathway with Oxfordshire.

As an off-spinner, Adi has snared 32 wickets at 25, with best bowling figures of 4-39 for Oxon U14 against Northamptonshire. He has taken 28 catches and enacted four run outs on representative duty.
