The Oratory School raises £82,000 for charity at its Schools Triathlon event

The Oratory School is delighted to have raised over £82,000 at its recent Knight Frank Schools Triathlon event on Sunday 7 June.

The school welcomed over 700 pupils from 27 schools for its second Schools Triathlon day, which saw aspiring triathletes undertake a sponsored run, swim and cycle which has raised incredible funds for global youth charity Restless Development and other charities chosen by the participating schools.

The event was a truly community-centred occasion, with local businesses and nearly 2,000 attendees coming together for a feel-good day of sporting activities. A huge thank you to all the generous volunteers and members of The Oratory family, from day and boarding pupils and parents through to staff, who kindly gave up their Sunday to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Matthew Fogg, Head Master of The Oratory, says, “The Oratory was delighted to welcome everyone to our Schools Triathlon. It was a fun-filled event for all, and we are delighted with the funds that have been raised for such worthwhile causes. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event happen, and to the event sponsors, Knight Frank and Neilson Active Holidays. We look forward to hosting again next year!”

This event is one of a national series of Schools Triathlon events organised by Restless Development, which trains, mentors, nurtures and inspires young people to use their youth power and lead change, in line with The Oratory’s own ethos to ‘Be you. Become more.’
