Celebrating a Thames Valley Park Regatta Win & Rowing Success at The Oratory School

Thames Valley Park Regatta on Sunday saw our junior and senior boys squads race.
The standout performance came from our J14 boys 4x+ who comfortably won their heat and went on to win the event in a closely contested race, winning by 5ft. Well done boys! There was also improved performance across the board from our J17 2x, J15 4+ & J14 2x. A great day out for all.
On the previous day, Henley Women's Regatta saw our first ever Oratory School girls crew race at Henley Women's Regatta. The girls rose to the occasion to put in their best performance of the year, beating several crews including local rivals Thames Scullers. This was a historic moment for the Oratory Rowing programme and school. We hope that this will be the first of many to race at Henley Women's Regatta in the coming years.
The annual OSBC Rowing Dinner took place on Wednesdayand was a fantastic evening celebrating the success and progress of all our rowers this year. Former Captain of Boats, Ed Shields (OO '25), delivered a great talk on the transition from school to university life and rowing at Durham University.
