Oratory LAMDA Exam Candidates Achieve 100% Distinctions in June examinations

We are thrilled to celebrate another exceptional achievement at The Oratory School, where our final LAMDA exam candidates of the academic year were all awarded a Distinction in their June examinations.

Congratulations to:

Max Orme - Gold Medal Solo Acting
Alex Olawoyin - Grade 5 Solo Acting
George Stone - Grade 4 Solo Acting
Jonathan Dodds - Grade 4 Speaking in Public

This remarkable success reflects the pupils ‘enthusiasm, dedication and hard work, alongside the outstanding support they receive from their teachers and families. It is an achievement of which the entire school community can be immensely proud.

LAMDA examinations develop far more than performance skills. Through engaging and enjoyable lessons, pupils build confidence, improve their communication skills, develop resilience and learn to think creatively. They gain the ability to speak with clarity, present ideas confidently and engage effectively with others — skills that benefit them throughout their education and beyond.

The success of this year’s candidates highlights the value of The Oratory's commitment to nurturing confident, articulate and expressive young people. Whether performing dramatic scenes, delivering speeches or exploring literature, the pupils have embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and determination.

Congratulations to all the pupils on this fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud of every one of them and look forward to seeing them continue to flourish in future LAMDA examinations and beyond.
