Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make, and can sometimes feel daunting. Our Admissions pages are here to guide you through the process of joining The Oratory School, whether that is 11+, 13+, 16+, or an alternative entry point. You will find information about key dates, assessments, scholarships, and fee assistance – but most importantly, we hope you’ll gain a useful introduction and a feel for the warmth of our community, which makes our school such a special place.
The Oratory is well-known for being a school where every child is known and cared for as an individual, with pastoral care at the heart of all we do. We warmly encourage you to come and visit - either at one of our Open Events or through a Personal Tour, so that you can meet our pupils and staff, and experience for yourself the welcoming atmosphere that sets The Oratory apart.
Dani and Kate, who lead our Admissions team, are here to make your journey as smooth as possible. Dani brings her background as a teacher and university admissions manager, while Kate has 8 years of experience working in independent school admissions, also seeing her own three children through independent education both here in the UK and overseas. Together, they understand both the practicalities and the emotions involved in choosing the right school, and are always happy to answer questions, offer guidance, or simply have a reassuring conversation.
