Oratory 6th Form's 'The Ridgeway Project'

We are excited to announce a challenging and rewarding L6th Form 24 Hours' Charity Walk, which will take place in June.

This event will see two teams of students and staff walk approximately 45 miles each along the stunning Ridgeway National Trail, starting from opposite ends (the Eastern and Western) and meeting at the midway point in Streatley, Berkshire. The goal is to complete the full distance within 24 hours, so it's definitely going to be a tough, but memorable experience!

Stephen Burrows, Assistant Head (Safeguarding Lead DSL & DSLA) & Mental Health First Aider at The Oratory, says "I am delighted to be leading this walk, which is quite an undertaking for all involved, and we would really value your support. We are raising money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), which funds pioneering research into heart-related issues whilst also offering training courses and heart screening to the community. This is a charity already well-known to us at The Oratory through its links with Old Oratorian, Morgan Macrae. Please do visit our Just Giving page to learn more and to donate to this worthwhile cause: www.justgiving.com/page/oratory-ridgeway-project."
