Thank you to Old Oratorian, Peter Boos (OS: 1958-1963)

It was wonderful to welcome Old Oratorian Peter Boos (OS: 1958-1963) back to The Oratory with his family. Peter's generous donation towards our All-Weather Pitch, which he has named 'Caritas' (meaning 'love'), will make such a huge difference to our fundraising efforts.
The Head Master showed Peter the AWP plans, which will be completed for this September, and talked about the importance that this amazing new facility will have for all our pupils here at The Oratory School.
Peter says, "My experience at The Oratory School transformed my life. It is a great pleasure to give back so others too can reap the benefits of an education at The Oratory School."
Thank you so much, Peter, from all of us here at The Oratory.

'Gratitude: A Short Reflection' by Peter BoosGratitude is more than a polite “thank you.” It is a deep awareness of the blessings, big and small, that shape our lives. It opens the heart, shifts our focus from what is missing to what is present, and turns ordinary moments into sacred ones.
To be grateful is to recognize the love in a kind word, the gift in a challenge overcome, the grace in simply being alive. It grounds us in humility and lifts us into joy. Gratitude does not depend on perfection - it grows even in difficulty, teaching us to see goodness in every season.
When we live with grateful hearts, we become more generous, more forgiving, and more aware of our connection to others. Gratitude is, in many ways, the beginning of peace.
