World Wellbeing Week at The Oratory

"This week is World Wellbeing Week 2025, which provides an opportunity to reflect on the many different aspects of wellbeing, from meaningful, purposeful work; physical, mental and emotional health; social resilience, and care for the environment.
It’s really easy to get caught up in the challenges of daily living and to overlook the importance of wellbeing, however, in this fast-paced world, prioritising our mental, physical, and emotional health has become a necessity.
World Wellbeing Week serves as a reminder for us to pause and reflect honestly on our approach to wellness and to consider how we live our lives and what we do that makes us feel focused, energised and content, rather than listless, demotivated, antisocial and sad.
This week is a chance to think about the small things we do every day that help us feel better both physically and emotionally. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with the purpose behind what we do, and to make space for meaningful connections and conversations that feed the soul and promote a culture of self-care alongside beneficial altruistic pursuits.
Building friendships and developing a sense of community can positively enhance the quality of our life and how we feel, so it’s important that we nurture those connections that build a sense of belonging, understanding and self-confidence. Loneliness and isolation can significantly affect how we think and feel, so having a strong support system in the community is essential.
As we celebrate World Wellbeing Week, let's use the time to reflect and take stock of what more we can do to nurture our own wellbeing practice alongside the promotion of a supportive work and community culture.
Let's prioritise wellness not just during this week, but every day."
Happy World Wellbeing Week!
