Oratory School GCSE Success, 2025

Oratory pupils have achieved another good year of GCSE results, with a value-added performance that places the school in the top 25% of schools nationally, and in the top 10% of schools nationally for value-added department performances in Art & Design, Science, Chinese, English Language, History, Mathematics and Music.
The 9-4 grades are once again 20% above the national average, and a testament to the hard work of both the pupils and teaching staff. There were many success stories and pupils who performed exceptionally well included: Lily Baker who achieved five 9s, four 8s and one 6; Henry Kietz who achieved four 9s, five 8s, one 7, and one 8 in Further Maths; Giorgia Fiorentino who achieved four 9s, four 8s and two 7s; Giles Kerry-Roger who achieved four 9s, three 8s and one 7; Jess Reed who achieved three 9s, five 8s and two 7s.
Notable departmental performances were displayed in: Physics with 78% 9-7 grades; Chemistry with 72% 9-7 grades; Art with 58% 9-7 grades; Biology with 56% 9-7 grades; both 3D Design and History with 52% 9-7 grades.

We are delighted at being placed in the top 25% for value-added for both GCSE and A Level results.”
