Oratory Pupils retain National Schools' Under 18s Real Tennis Championship
There was more success on the Real Tennis court for Oratory pupils last weekend at the Queen's Club in London, when Max and Archie retained the National Schools' Under 18s Real Tennis Championship having won the title in 2025!
This tournament is the most prestigious doubles competition in schools' Real Tennis and a testament to the standard of play amongst pupils at the school.
Max and Archie progressed through the competition before facing off against Radley College's number one pair. In a tight contest, Max and Archie played with composure to close out the match 6/4 6/4.
Head of Oratory Racquets and reigning Ladies Real Tennis World Champion, Claire Fahey, says: "Last year was the first time we had won the National U18 Doubles title, and I am delighted the boys have been able to win the event back-to-back. Having won the U13 event earlier in the season, it was wonderful to win the U18 tournament again!"
