Oratory Real Tennis Success - five national champions across four competitions

It has been a truly outstanding season for Real Tennis at The Oratory, as the school celebrates a record five national champions across four competitions!
Noah and Fernando won the U13 National Schools’ Doubles Championship, defeating Moulsford Prep School in a closely fought final, whilst Max and Archie retained the U18 National Schools’ Doubles Championship, defeating Radley College in the final at the prestigious Queen’s Club.
In singles action, Fred produced an outstanding performance to be crowned National U15 Schools’ Singles Champion. He defeated the number 1 player from Radley College in the final, an excellent achievement particularly on his opponent's home court.
In the U18 event, Archie secured the National Schools Championship at Hardwick House. Playing against the best school players in the country, Archie won the competition without dropping a set in what was a very impressive display.
The reigning Ladies Real Tennis World Champion and Head of Oratory Racquets, Claire Fahey, says “This has been a very special season for Real Tennis at The Oratory. To have five national champions and to have won four events is a truly remarkable achievement, and a sign of the strength of the sport at the school."
