Departmentally there were some excellent results with English Language attaining 100% A*-B; Further Maths 40% A*-A; Maths 42% A*-A and 67% A*-B; 3D Design 100% A*-B; Chemistry 100% A*-B; Economics 50% A*-A and 100% A*- C.

There were, of course, many strong individual performances including Yuvraj Gakhar who wins his place at Oxford University for Economics and Management with A*A*A*B; Yoonho Kang’s A*A*A*B for his place at Warwick for Maths; Juliet Boorer with A*AA for Bristol and Cognitive Neuroscience; Millie Davis-Gill for the degree course of Liberal Arts at Exeter with A*AB; and Max Hucker who took a flush of A grades and gained his place for the degree course of International Development at Bath.

The Head Master, Mr Matthew Fogg said, “It's been an absolutely fantastic morning welcoming families and students to The Oratory School on A Level results day and there has been so much to celebrate. An incredible 60% of our students are heading off to Russell Group Universities and our quality indicator shows that progress made by Oratory pupils at A Level is once again equivalent to the top 25% of schools nationally. These results are a tribute to the guidance of our Assistant Head (6th Form), Dr Moses, to all of our teachers, and, of course, to our students for all their hard work. Well done everyone."

The Oratory is looking forward to next Thursday and wish our GCSE pupils all the very best for their results.
