Boarding House Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Oratory for a Boarding House Assistant. This is a significant role in ensuring the smooth running of the house, helping to provide a happy, comfortable, and well-disciplined atmosphere for the students under their care. Whilst no formal qualifications are required the person appointed would be expected to undertake suitable training. The Boarding House Assistant needs to have personal qualities which will enable them to support the Housemaster and House Staff and ensure the trust and confidence of the students.

Curriculum Support Teacher 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Support Teacher to join our Curriculum Support Department. The role of the Curriculum Support Teacher will mainly offer support to our SEND students in the classroom, by following Individual Education Plans. They are also expected to work with students either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

The ideal candidate will have the confidence to be able to communicate effectively with students and teachers. They should be able to adapt quickly to new situations and be able to use strategies for supporting students and implement them independently.
 

 


German Tutor 

Our Modern Foreign Languages Department is looking for a self-employed German Tutor to provide tutoring with our students on a 1:1 basis.

The successful candidate should have suitable qualifications and be trained in delivering effective lesson plans which are tailored to each student's needs.
 

 


Graduate Assistant 

A wonderful opportunity is available at The Oratory School for a Graduate Assistant to make a meaningful impact on our students. The role is available from 1 September 2024 to 31 July 2025. 

As a Graduate Assistant you would be supporting academic classes, and sporting fixtures as well contributing to the ethos and culture of our school. Additionally, this is a full-time residential role, living in one of our boarding houses and helping with duties, supervision and the pastoral care of students. There is an occupational requirement (as defined by Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010) for the postholder to be female. Accordingly, this post is open to female applicants only. 
 

 

 


Porter/Cleaner 

We are looking for Porters/Cleaners to join our Domestic Team to provide an excellent standard of cleaning throughout the school. There are various shifts available either term time or all year round.

School Bank Nurses

We are looking for Bank Nurses to work as part of our excellent Health Centre team to provide professional support and care to our students. If you are highly organised, have great communication skills and love working with children, we would love to meet you.

 

 


Minibus Drivers (term time only)

The Oratory School is looking for motivated and friendly Minibus Drivers to work as part of the Transport Team to provide transport for our students. A full D1 Licence is required.

Mornings -Monday to Saturdays 6.30am to 8.30am; Evenings Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm.
